Hi! This is me! I live in Cincinnati and my house is full of boys (my husband, son, and all three cats!) and since I’m not a girly-girl, I couldn’t be happier about it!
Some things I love are reading, writing, horses (& all other animals) and riding, and colorguard.
I have a laundry list of things I would love to learn how to do someday. Like how to become a published author, speak a different language, play the flute or the violin, become a crafter, to name a few.
I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, so I ALWAYS cheer for the Steelers, Penguins, and the Pirates.
I enjoy watching the Black & Gold play, but nothing beats watching my son play baseball! Just watch! Someday, he’s going to the Big Show! But let’s just get through high school for right now.
“The Card Carrying Introvert” fits me to a T! I often thought about doing just that…carrying around Introvert Cards that I could hand to someone when they do things like point out that I’m quiet, or invite me to a crowded party where there’s a bunch of people I don’t know.
“Introvert” was a foreign term to me until I was in my 30’s. I definitely had the classic characteristics, but wasn’t aware it was a real personality trait. I just always thought that feeling awkward and exhausted around people was something I needed to work on. It was so freeing to learn that I don’t have a problem and there’s nothing to fix. I am an introvert and that is completely ok!
