Love this! I found a yoga instructor I loved the first time I tried yoga, but when we had a substitute one week, I almost fled the class in tears. She was harsh, demanding, and not at all encouraging us to take it at our own pace. Now I know what kinds of questions to ask of a new teacher. Thank you!

Thank you! I’ve never been to a yoga class due to various elements of practicing it in a group being so triggering. I’ve also, unfortunately, met too many yoga teachers who seem oblivious to the sensitive needs of their students, or believe they can “work through it” somehow, so I’m glad to hear that teachers such as yourself do exist!
