I never realized that but now I look back on my behaviour at that time, it makes a lot of sense. I don’t have social anxiety anymore (or at least not an overwhelming amount of it), so to all you people out there with social anxiety: It’s possible to treat it! It doesn’t have to be something you have to struggle to death with all your life. It can get better. 🙂
