That is interesting! I am an INFJ married to a male ENTJ, but our relationship does not have that kind of ease!

Both ESTPs and INFJs share the same cognitive functions while ENTPs have only two complimentary cognitive functions. When you are dating someone, I suggest you to avoid the Feelers — they are lovely to look at but not for being around because the Chameleon effect will trigger our Ni-Ti fetal loop (then we are doomed). If you think the Thinkers work fine with us, no no no, the NT types are cold (but less dramatic).

For me, the Ni-Ti-Fe-Se types (ESTP, INFJ, ENFJ) are good for relationships. #INTJMode

From my INFJ part to you: I’m sorry. If INFJs open up to wrong ones, the most painful experience of Disappointment will definitely be eternal. And I know we don’t like having arguments. #GiveMorePainMore #IncarnateSin

What a wonderful article to describe “us”. Thank you for your personal perspectives on compatibilities. I often read articles on such subjects as star sign compatibilities, personality compatibilities, etc. When I do, I often find myself saying ‘Gosh! What horribly archaic textbook are they reading this from?’. It’s refreshing to get personal perspectives on such an emotionally involved subject. I especially appreciate it when that subject is being analyzed from a very logical perspective.

It works well for us because we share traits of perfectionism, intuition, curiosity, reliability, and intellect, but in most other ways we’re opposites. The differences make our relationship endlessly interesting.

The first person I felt that was able to understand me was my twin sister who is an ENTP. I couldn’t ask for a better person to be my sister in my life. Also my psychologist is an ENFJ and we really do get along on a personal level, beyond the fact that he’s my therapist, and care about each other.
In addition, my best friend is an INTJ and the connection between us is a thing.
My mother is an INFP and we share our INF side together, she’s more like a friend to me and it feels that we balance our personalities while communicating and spending time together. Also some friends of mine or people I like are of these types, INTPs as well.
I haven’t met an ENFP yet or made him/her part of my life but I’m still waiting for that.
Nothing is more true than this article.

I feel its wrong to pair an INFJ with an E for long term romantic relationships yet all the sites match us up with extroverted personalitys for Romance. I love Extroverts in short bursts, but yet to meet one that I can relax with long term. Even the Extroverts in my life that are family. I love them but they overwhelm me after too long. I have many Extroverted friends they are the ones I go out and blow off steam with. They get confused when I dont want to hang out for long weekends or more than a few times out ofvthe month.
My son is an INTP wow we have wonderful insightful conversations about politics, and religion, and health-care, and psychology and world views, and art and books and more and hes only 16!
My boyfriend is an INTJ he is the one person other than my son that I can be around everyday, all the time and still feel relaxed and at ease. Hes the Gandalf to my Frodo. He gets me thinking and out on wonderful adventures. Otherwise I would stay in the Shire and never get out to see the world. Yes INFJ and INTJ wonderful match.
ENTJ bad match in my experiences for long term. My ex husband was ENTJ very bad match. But a GF is also an ENTJ and we get along great.
I think its the maturity of the person too. I have seen very angry INFJs and this seems to a trait of the younger ones. I am rarely angry. I get angry but takes a lot ti push me. But very bad result when we are pushed too far.

For me it is all I could ever ask for. I feel that his thinking charasteristic completes me and vice versa. Although I can almost equal his logic and insightfulness, as an INFJ I feel that there is much more “extra” in my mind in comparison to my INTJ. He is more focused and that benefits him, especially in work life. At the same time I can more accurately predict human related outcomes and people tend to find something “special” in me, which is both a blessing and a burden. My father is an INTP, my mother ENFJ and my brother INFP. My two best friends are ENFJ and ENFP. I have found that I can learn a lot from other types a lot as well, but I am very happy that I am in a relationship with an INTJ. He is my rock.
