I so agree with the “putting down their book”. When I’m into a book I’d rather not be disturbed. But for a few people I will always lay down my book. 🙂

So true! If I actually say that I’ll go somewhere and go, it’s huge! Especially in bad weather. I like to nest. 😀

An interesting observation about reading there. I find reading as therapeutic and restorative as meditation, and more relaxing than any drug. Anytime I feel anxious, overwhelmed or if I can’t sleep, picking up a book (or, more likely, my phone, which I use mostly as an e-reader) does the trick.
