On every single parent-teacher meeting I’ve had so far, they love pointing out that they are so quiet, don’t speak loud enough, don’t like speaking in front of the whole class etc. Our strategy is usually to agree with them, and then to point out that there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I like asking if they do well on all other accounts (until now, they always do) and if they feel okay in class. As long as that’s OK, who cares?
Good luck with being a parent to a wonderful child. It may not be easy, but it’s great nonetheless.

I never think what is it like to have an introvert child. I’m still a teen though lol. My mom (i’m not sure if she is an extrovert or ambivert) always got asked by relatives or her friend about why i am so quiet. I don’t know if she’s angry or not, but my mom can’t chill out if everyone ask this question (eventough she pretends like everything is alright). She will answer with tense”yes, she is. But she is very loud at home.” Or something like that. I, myself, feel angry if someone judge me like that. I think “why don’t you just let me be like this and open a conversation with me.” Right? I ever post something like this on my post about what people think on us (introvert). But I wrote it in bahasa indonesia.
